Birkhäuser+GBC received he certification for PDFX-Ready Output Spot Classic on December 16, 2006.

PDFX-Ready concerns the ISO-Standard 15930-3:2002 (PDF/X-3), which regulates the transmission of digital setting copy regulated on the basis of PDF. The UGRA, FOGRA, IFRA, ECI and the BVDM played a decisive role in the development of the standard. With this standard there is for the first time a clear complex of rules of how the already very popular file format PDF can be implemented in the graphic industry reliably and flexibly at the same time. This offers both manufacturers as well as all contractors the urgently needed reliable basis for the development and introduction of contemporary solutions and working procedures. 

Because we are certified we are allowed to use the PDFX-Ready logo on all of our communication documents.
